Charming Historic Farmhouse with hypogeum and ancient olive trees Osuni Puglia
A symbol of the Apulian territory , the ´Masseria´ 5 kilometers from the center of Ostuni, the White City, is one of the few structures in Apulia that houses a spectacular hypogeum.The extent of the property is about 22 hectares, partly still fortified. Centuries-old olive trees, arable and agricultural areas, fortified orchard in a circumscribed rural area, ancient farmyard of large proportions, stables and barns and an ancient canal from the hillside, which passes inside the propertycreating a spectacular scenic effect, make the exteriors of unique charm.The covered areas, namely the main farmhouse on two surfaces, the hypogeum that houses an ancient circular oil mill and historic cisterns dug into the rock, various storage areas, stables, barns, the ancient rooms and halls, develop a covered square footage of about 700 sq. m.
